The IAB is excited to announce Helen Southgate, Managing Director of Affilinet, as the new chair of the Performance Marketing Council (PMC).
Helen brings with her a wealth of experience in the affiliate space and has been a prominent figure in the PMC since it started.
We’re delighted to have her expertise on board to, along with the other members of the council, help drive the channel forward. Helen will be supported by Keven Edwards, Global Client Strategy Director at Awin, Nathan Salter, Chief Operating Officer at Optimise, and James Boden, Director, Retail and Brand Solutions at RetailMeNot.
Here’s what Helen had to say about her appointment…
“I am really excited about the opportunity to be the chairperson of the PMC again. I feel it is the right time for someone to step back into this position and help support the IAB in driving forward not only the objectives of the PMC but also how the PMC supports the wider IAB objectives.
The OPM study showed that the affiliate channel is in a strong place with advertisers spending £1.6bn on the channel, a 12% increase on 2015. Working alongside Kevin Edwards, Nathan Salter, and James Boden who have generously put themselves forward for supporting roles our key focus for the tenure will be to ensure the council is delivering value for all members and the industry as a whole. That will include better engagement and communication whilst we work together to drive forward the affiliate channel and continue to raise our profile in the wider marketing world.”
