Audio Council - Guide
The online audio market is growing and evolving by the day. As more music fans are converted to using streaming audio services, especially where there is a free offering, this opens up great potential for brands to communicate directly with a highly engaged audience.
The IAB formed the Audio Council in early 2013 to educate the market about the possibilities offered by advertising in an online audio environment.
The Council has three key aims:
- To further educate the market;
- To help develop the future business models of the audio sector;
- To increase the value of the online audio advertising sector.
Current Council members include key players of all sizes from within the sector, and are represented by industry experts from all sections of the industry, including online pure players, radio specialists and audio advertising agencies.
