The IAB works with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to release information on the size of the mobile advertising market in the UK.

This is the only study that combines real data, sourced from publishers and networks, combined with industry expertise to show how much is being spent on mobile advertising.

This invaluable information gives the market an understanding of not only how much adspend is going on mobile, but also which industries are investing the most and the formats they are spending on.

Since 2008 the IAB/PwC mobile adspend study has provided like-for-like comparisons to previous years, providing accurate like-for-like growth data.

Global mobile advertising revenue 2013: The state of mobile advertising around the world

IAB Europe, the U.S. IAB Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence and IHS Technology reveal their global figures for mobile advertising revenue which soared a massive 92% to €14.6bn ($19.3bn) in 2013 from €7.6bn ($10.1bn) in 2012, confirming the adoption of mobile as an essential element of the marketer’s toolkit.
